Our mission is to protect the welfare of the animals we come in contact with, and to promote the humane treatment and well being of these animals by: Providing shelter and medical care for stray or abandoned animals in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. Responding with personal commitment, humane sensitivity, compassion, and technical skill needs of these animals. Actively promoting suitable adoptions of the animals. Encouraging the spay and neutering of dogs and cats to ensure the numbers of unwanted animals be kept to a minimum. Helping to prevent the cruelty to animals by promoting animal welfare legislation and education.

Tassie's
Hope has rescued many animals this year. Many of them were sick or
injured when they came to us. Our financial resources have been
severely drained treating them for heartworms and numerous other ailments.
Heartworm treatment is very expensive. Our ability to save more lives is now seriously compromised, yet there are
currently dozens of dogs in area shelters waiting for us to give them a
second chance. You can see the dogs that are currently undergoing
